Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:136.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/136.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open a page that loads content dynamically (e.g. infinite scroll, or other dynamically loaded components; let's use X/Twitter for you feed as the example)
Enable Firefox Translation (manually or automatically)

Actual results:

Not all of the dynamic content is translated (to be clear, using the example of X/Twitter, that I use in Japanese with automatic translation to English enabled: as I scroll down in the infinite feed and new content is loaded, some of the Japanese posts are translated but some are not; interestingly, some of the posts that are not translated have parts of the post "container" translated - like the username or the post time - while the body of the post is not translated.

Expected results:

All text in a language that is configured for translation should be translated, regardless of when or how it's loaded.

Component: Untriaged → Translations

This could be due to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1842820

I don't have an account there to reproduce, and it won't let me view the content otherwise. Maybe someone else can confirm that the untranslated content is in a shadow root.

Severity: -- → S3
