User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:138.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/138.0

Steps to reproduce:

After installing Nightly and selecting it as the default browser in MacOS, external links (from Slack, Mail, command open file.html, etc) do not open in Firefox.

When switching the default browser from Nightly to normal Firefox everything works as expected.

I have attached a screen recording.

Actual results:

After clicking a link the Firefox window is focused, but no new tab with the link is opened.
