- Nightly 138.0a1
Affected versions
- Nightly 138.0a1
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: macOS 15, Windows 11
Steps to reproduce
- Launch Firefox with a new profile.
- Open the Hamburger Menu, click on Profiles, then on Manage Profiles.
- Delete the Original profile.
- After Firefox restarts with a new profile, compare the Profiles sections in the Menu Bar and the Hamburger Menu.
Expected result
- The Profiles section in both the Menu Bar and Hamburger Menu should display the same information for consistency.
Actual result
- The Profiles section from the Menu Bar displays a "Profile 1" entry that is not visible in the Profiles section of the Hamburger Menu.
Regression range
- This is not a regression; it's introduced with the Profile Switching feature.
Per UX and PM, this should not block for 138.
UX input: for consistency we should hide the single remaining profile in the menubar menu as well and hide the manage profiles option--check the Figma for latest updates.
