Environment:
Operating system: Windows 11
Firefox version: Firefox desktop 135/136/138

Preconditions:

  • Requires a tablet with Windows and pen (orginal reporter tested with Lenovo X1 tablet)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://maps.google.com
  2. Navigate the map with touch gestures.
  3. Switch to pen and use it to navigate the page/map.
  4. Try navigating the map without the pen, doing touch gestures.

Expected Behavior:
The map can be moved with touch gestures.

Actual Behavior:
No longer responds to touch gestures, only the pen.

Notes:

  • We couldn't verify this on our own since we do not have a windows tablet with pen but moved it here since the user reproduced regardless of the suggestions given
  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • Does not reproduce in chrome

Version: unspecified → Firefox 138

Since nightly and release are affected, beta will likely be affected too.
