User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030205 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030205 I subscribe to the freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG mailing list and i have to manually move several e-mails from my inbox at home.se (IMAP) to the local folder where i want the mail from the mailing list. I suspect that the problem is that the message filters search does not search the whole string on the Cc: line? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a filter that match To or CC for stable@FreeBSD.ORG and freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG that will move the e-mail to Local Folders/Inbox/FreeBSD/stable 2. Sign up for the freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG e-mailing list 3. Actual Results: Check inbox after a day or so, usally 1-10 e-mails that does not get moved to Local Folders/Inbox/FreeBSD/stable Expected Results: Moved the e-mail that contains freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG on the Cc: line to the Local Folders/Inbox/FreeBSD/stable folder The mailheader on one of the mail looks like this. Anders Larsson, is this bug still an issue for you? I have tried to duplicate your results using Mozilla 1.4 and could not.
Sorry for the delay. Yes, i got it again. (currently one e-mail since i hav been unsubscribed from the FreeBSD stable list but it is the same behaivour) Im using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Below is the E-mail header if someone can detect some similarity with the previous mail header.. Nothing in the filter log. And i have other e-mails that the filter did catch?? atleast if i look on the "To: or Cc:" line. Usally the e-mails that the filter does not catch have some reciver then a comma and then freebsd-stable@freebsd.org and sometimes some more on the line. But since the filter have catched some e-mails it probably are not the "To: or Cc:" line the filter fails on. Any tip on running Mozilla mail with some more debug options or other things that i can do to help resolve this? --start e-mail header-- X-Auth-No: Return-Path: <owner-freebsd-stable@freebsd.org> Received: from mail2.eniro.basefarm.net not authenticated [80.69.224.16] by smtp2.home.se with NetMail SMTP Agent $Revision: 3.22.1.3 $ on Novell NetWare; Thu, 24 Jul 2003 01:38:28 +0200 Received: from mx2.freebsd.org (mx2.freebsd.org [216.136.204.119]) by mail2.eniro.basefarm.net (8.12.9/8.12.9/1.3) with ESMTP id h6NNddHb018406 for <erikrana@hem.passagen.se>; Thu, 24 Jul 2003 01:39:40 +0200 (MEST) Received: from hub.freebsd.org (hub.freebsd.org [216.136.204.18]) by mx2.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6301F57069; Wed, 23 Jul 2003 16:39:10 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from owner-freebsd-stable@freebsd.org) Received: from hub.freebsd.org (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id C44F237B401; Wed, 23 Jul 2003 16:39:09 -0700 (PDT) Delivered-To: freebsd-stable@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.FreeBSD.org (mx1.freebsd.org [216.136.204.125]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D1BD637B404 for <freebsd-stable@freebsd.org>; Wed, 23 Jul 2003 16:38:50 -0700 (PDT) Received: from anchor-post-39.mail.demon.net (anchor-post-39.mail.demon.net [194.217.242.80]) by mx1.FreeBSD.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1FADA43FB1 for <freebsd-stable@freebsd.org>; Wed, 23 Jul 2003 16:38:50 -0700 (PDT) (envelope-from steve@sliderule.demon.co.uk) Received: from sliderule.demon.co.uk ([80.177.21.188]) by anchor-post-39.mail.demon.net with esmtp (Exim 3.36 #2) id 19fTC4-0003rS-0U; Thu, 24 Jul 2003 00:38:48 +0100 Message-ID: <3F1F1C88.5040101@sliderule.demon.co.uk> Date: Thu, 24 Jul 2003 00:38:48 +0100 From: Steve Burton <steve@sliderule.demon.co.uk> User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030624 Netscape/7.1 (ax) X-Accept-Language: en-gb, en, en-us MIME-Version: 1.0 To: "Andrew P. Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest nightly (or even 1.7.3)? If not, the bug has probably been fixed and can be closed. Thanks.
(In reply to comment #3) > Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest nightly (or even 1.7.3)? > If not, the bug has probably been fixed and can be closed. Thanks. Unfortunally i have seen it in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040616 I can try with 1.7.3 or a nightly build?
