195374 - Message pane header does not show attachments and email links -- Addressbook problem?

It took a while that the address book file abook.mab seems to be responsible for
this. The same file I can open in Mozilla 1.0.2, but not in 1.2 and 1.3a. In
these later versions, the address book is empty and the message pane header
looks different (gray, no box, no attachements). If I remove the file then the
headers look fine. 
This might actually consist of two bugs: one in the address book and the other
one in the message pane user interface.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a version 1.0.2 address book file 
2.start mozilla 1.3a
3.display an arbitrary message

Actual Results:  
the message pane header is gray, no box no attachements, not links for emails etc.

Expected Results:  
...

I have not checked whether it is only a problem with my particular abook file.
If you cannot reproduce it, then I can sent it to you. In any case there should
be a warning that the file is corrupted or so (if it is).

Gunnar, 20021212 is too old for bug reporting purposes. Please retest using a
current nightly build.

The same happens with a current nightly build. 
My old abook file cause the message pane to look different. Also the commands
'compact folders' and 'empty thrash' are disabled.

WorksForMe using Mozilla 1.0.2 (FizzillaCFM/2003010605) and FizzillaMach/2003022803.

Gunnar, can you reproduce this using a new Mozilla user profile, simply creating
one address card in 1.0.2 and opening it in a current nightly build? If not, it
could be some corruption particular to your old address book file (abook.mab).

Have a look at your address book file and compare it to the test file you
create. Look for anything strange.

I tried several things. In one case it happened when I imported my previously
exported address book, but I cannot reproduce it. 
Maybe you are right and it is only a corruption in my address book file. But
even then, there should be some checks or warnings that it is corrupted (there
wasn't).  
[It works for me now in a stable way when I import the address book in v 1.3.]

corrupted somehow.
