Affected versions

  • Nightly 138.0a1

Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: Ubuntu 22.04

**Prerequisites **

  • Set the pref "browser.contextual-password-manager.enabled" to true in about:config
  • Have the sidebar enabled
  • Have the Passwords sidebar open
  • Have screen reader enabled

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigate to the "More Options" button using the Tab key
  2. Press Space to open the menu
  3. Listen to the announcement made by Orca

Expected result

  • The announcement should be clear and include accurate activation instructions(Click, Space, Enter).

Actual result

  • Initially, the button is read as "More options push button – to activate, press Space." However, pressing Enter or clicking also activates it.
When opening the menu using keyboard focus, Orca incorrectly announces "To activate, press Return."
Navigation instructions: to navigate press left or right arrow, to move through items press up/down arrow. However pressing the left or right arrow keys has no effect within the menu.

This is possibly an issue that needs to be smoothed in orca as well.
