Steps to reproduce:

Dashboard -> Help -> About Thunderbird -> update Thunderbird from version 128.8.0 ESR (x64) to version 136.0 (x64) -> restart Thunderbird -> bug.

Browser User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/134.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Actual results:

Cyrillic symbols in all subfolders' names became broken (displayed gibberish).

Magnus Melin has closed report groundlessly. Me and some other users have this bug.

It's closed as a duplicate. If you have more info, please follow up in bug 1953747 where we're tracking the issue
