Further to bug 195442:
This is a summary of the steps I have to take (each time!) to get Mozilla started:
Action
- doubble-click icon, results in: 'convert profile/manage profile' selection screen
- select 'manage profile', results in screen in which NO available profile is
offered
- select 'create profile', results in intermediate explanatory screen
- select 'next', results in screen in which 'default user' is offered as name
for profile
- select 'finish', results in screen in which now default user is offered as
available profile
- click 'start Mozilla
If I set preferences, and subsequently close Mozilla, I have to go through the
very same steps again.
The result is a working browser, which DOES remember the preference set in
previous session, EXCEPT that it does NOT come in the selected language (if
downloaded and set in previous session).
There is a way to force Mozilla to use the selected language, i.e. delete the
English language ans leave selected language as only available.
Next time I have to go through all steps again, which are now in the selected
language.
However the resulting browser has forgotten all other previous settings

Start up Mozilla with maximum of two commands, in selected language, and with
all preferences as set in previous sessions.
