Preconditions

• Use FR VPN
• Have the pref 'browser.search.region' set to FR
• Have at least one address that has a second line saved in about:preferences

Steps to reproduce

1. Reach the Address form on http://www.darty.fr/
2. Click the Email field and observe the autofill dropdown
3. Autofill the form by clicking on any field and selecting a saved entry from the autofill dropdown and observe the form

Expected result

• For step 2: Autofill dropdown should be displayed for the Email field
• For step 3: All fields should be autofilled accordingly

Actual result

• For step 2: Autofill dropdown is not displayed for the Email field. However, the Email field is autofilled when the autofill is triggered from a different field, but when clicking on it, the "Manage password" dropdown is displayed instead of the Clear form dropdown
• For step 3: Autofill behavior is inconsistent:
  • sometimes the City is autofilled, but not highlighted and the main Address field is not autofilled
  • sometimes the City field is not autofilled, but the main Address field is autofilled. However, there are cases when the field becomes unclickable despite being highlighted in yellow
  • sometimes neither the City nor the main Address fields is autofilled because the Postal Code is considered invalid (even if it is not)

• Please note that the issue is intermittent and sometimes the autofill works properly

Re-verified using Firefox Nightly 140.0a1 (2025-04-28) on macOS 14, and I am still able to reproduce the issue intermittently, as stated in Comment 0.

Bug 1955252 fixed the issue of re-filling fields that are cleared by a site immediately after an autofill action. It does not address any of the described issues related to this form.
