Preconditions

• Have set in about:config:
• browser.search.region - GB
• Have an already saved address in about:preferences

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://www.wickes.co.uk/ and reach the shipping address form.
2. Click on any field and choose an address from the autocomplete dropdown.
3. Clear the form.
4. Click on "Type first line of the address" field, choose an address from the autocomplete dropdown and click outside the field.

Expected result

• All the fields should the autofilled accordingly.

Actual result

• The "Type first line of the address" field is autofilled for a millisecond, then becomes blank but remains highlighted when the form is autofilled from different field from the street address one(this is intermittent). After autofill the form from the address field and click outside the field, the street address field becomes blank but remains highlighted(reproducible all the time).

• In Chrome, the autofill is not working at all for the "Type first line of the address" field.
• The issue is reproducible using the dynamic form support prefs to both true or false.

Re-tested in Nightly 140.0a1 and the issue is partially fixed. The first issue seems to be fixed, if I autofill the fields from a field different than the street address field, all the fields are autofilled correctly each time. The second issue is still reproducible, by triggering the autofill from the street address field and click anywhere outside the fields, the field remains highlighted but blank.

I'd say the initial issue of the field remaining blank but highlighted after an autofill action is fixed. No matter from which field the autofill action is triggered, all eligible fields are autofilled.

But the site implements a custom dropdown, which clears the field again when focusing out of the street address field without having selected an dropdown entry. Custom dropdowns are currently a wont-fix see comment 3 of Bug 1957079.
