Details
(Whiteboard: [genai])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:136.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/136.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Double click to select text
- (Do not release button)
- Hover over the AI button
Actual results:
When selecting text and holding down the mouse button, if you move the cursor over the AI button without releasing, the selection glitches. Instead of staying as intended, all the text above the cursor gets selected.
Expected results:
-
Hide the AI button while the mouse is pressed – This would prevent interference with text selection and ensure a smooth experience.
-
Hide the AI button when hovering while text is selected – This would stop the button from appearing when it might interfere, but it might still cause unintended interactions.
