and wfm on Moz 2003022810 on Mandrake Linux 9.1 RC1.
Page doesn't seem to have any Flash or Java in it either, so i guess we can rule
that out.

Reporter, can you try with a more recent build? For instance
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/2003-02-28-10-trunk/mozilla-i686-pc-linux-gnu-installer.tar.gz
since the more recent Linux nightlies seem to have their own share of problems.

worksforme with linux trunk 20030302 and 1.3b.
please provide a talkback ID for the crash.  are you using a XFT build?

in addition to trying a trunk build (brave), you could more recent build off the
1.3 branch:
http://download.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.3/
