User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 By starting the browser a windows popup appears and says it needs to open drive e:. Than I have to klick many times the break button or the continue button or the retry button. Up to 20 times I have to click one of them. After them the browser will be opened. It doesn't matter in which way I open the browser. Maybe it is a setting, but I didn't found it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the browser by double clicking the browser icon. 2.The popup appears and asks for the CD drive and the not iserted media. 3.After many times clicking the abort, retry or continue button the browser window opened with the start page. Actual Results: Normal browser behavior. Expected Results: Starting immediately without opening the popup window. This behavior wasn't directly after the installation. It seems that it is apart of my profile. I removed the installation and all installed parts (without my profile because of possible data loss) including the installation directory. Than I installed it again - it is still there.
Peter: Have you renamed your harddrive recently? Do you use a third party theme? Does changing the theme resolve the problem? Does the problem disappear when you use a new profile (you can create one with the Profile Manager)?
Reporter: Can you look into your bookmarks and see if you have an old broken link to drive e: ?
It was an old broken link to drive E in my bookmarks. Tip of matti@mversen.de
