Steps to reproduce:
install your last update of April.
click on restart to finish the update install
Actual results:
nothing happen, even after do the same thing 3 times..
So, I completely close Thunderbird et relaunch Thunderbird and everything was find...
Didn't ask again to restart to finish install the update...
Expected results:
When Thunderbird ask to click to restart to finish to update. It should work as it was before the last 2 or 3 update...
It start to happen with your 136.0 version.
