User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 [RFE] The subject says it all. The mail client notifies of new email even after the messages are tagged as spam! Could the notification be ran _after_ the spam filtering does its thing? It is very annoying to be notified about something that is garbage. :-) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get spam 2. Get notified 3. Spam is filtered into Junk folder 4. Customer goes to check new email and sees new messages in the Junk folder. 5. Irrate customer deletes messages. Actual Results: Notification for "new messages" pops up, spam is filtered correctly but client notifies of new message for one that is spam :-( Expected Results: Filtered the spam and NOT pop-up the new messages notification.
I failed to mention this happens on the 1.3 beta, which has the spam filtering capabilities--as opposed to 1.2.1 where I am submitted the bug from.

This is a duplicate of bug 189289.
Thanks. I did do a search for other bugs similar to this but I entered 'spam' in my search string so I didn't see the dup, which has 'junk' in it! :-)
