Preconditions

  • sidebar enabled
  • vertical tab enabled
  • sidebar placed on the left side
  • expand on hover enabled

Steps to reproduce

  1. Pin some tabs.
  2. Hover over the pinned tabs.

Expected result

  • The hover effect is visible.

Actual result

  • The hover effect is not so visible.

Regression range

  • This happens after the dimmed background is implemented on the pinned tabs (bug 1954990).

This isn't specific to expand on hover - its using the same --tab-hover-background-color as pinned tabs for the other visibility settings. It is probably something we want to revisit though.
