- sidebar enabled
- vertical tab enabled
- sidebar placed on the left side
- expand on hover enabled
Steps to reproduce
- Pin some tabs.
- Hover over the pinned tabs.
Expected result
- The hover effect is visible.
Actual result
- The hover effect is not so visible.
Regression range
- This happens after the dimmed background is implemented on the pinned tabs (bug 1954990).

This isn't specific to expand on hover - its using the same --tab-hover-background-color
as pinned tabs for the other visibility settings. It is probably something we want to revisit though.
