Bug 1957515 added a new utility to assert that ExperimentStores get cleaned up during tests. This was ported from wrappers in Nimbus' tests head.js. That bug replaced the guts of those wrappers with a call to this function so that it didn't have to touch all the nimbus tests.
There is also a usage in this about:preferences test head.js that we can mostly replace with a call to this function.
