Steps to reproduce:

Arch linux, newest firefox, X11, i3wm/kde plasma
Youtube music/Discord seem to both have been running at those times
Switch to any other tty than your X11 session
log in with the same user
stay there for about 3minutes, firefox crashes

Actual results:

Firefox crashes, doesnt seem to provide anything sensible in the logs

Expected results:

Shouldn't have crashed i presume

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
Product: Firefox → Core

Its also worth to point out that I do not remember this being an issue on an amd system, which the bug report would indicate

Crash at libnvidia-eglcore.so

Component: Widget: Gtk → Graphics
Summary: Firefox seems to crash whenever user is in other tty session for long enough → [GLContext::InitImpl()] NVIDIA Firefox seems to crash whenever user is in other tty session for long enough

Is it problem with nvidia then?
