Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Unix; rv:1.2.1) SIF2003
Build Identifier: mozilla-1.3b and mozilla-1.2.1

When I create a new user account the user directory is empty. Thus mozilla has
to create a profile (default) the first time it starts. It does create the
.mozilla directory but it fails to start.
If a netscape-4 profile or an old mozilla profile is present there is no problem
at all.
I am using mozilla-1.2.1 and mozilla-1.3b downloaded from the main mozilla site.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

The linux distribution is debian woody.

Sven: Is this still a problem with a current Mozilla build?
No this is no longer a problem - at least with version 1.6 on linux which is
what we are using now.
