If event start time equals end time, closing it always prompts for saving

Steps to reproduce:

  • In a Google Calendar synced via CalDAV, create an event with a start time and an end time that equals the start time.
  • Save the event
  • Try to close the event
  • You will be prompted to save unsaved modifications.

The problem does not occur for whole-day events and for events where the start and end time differ.

Note that the add-on "Provider for Google Calendar" does not have this issue.

I don't think that's the issue. If I set the default event time to 0 in the settings, it's closed without asking.
So, to set the start end time to the same, you must have modified the event - which rightfully would trigger prompt on close.
