User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210

JavaScript which is added to an event-handler of an area-Element is not
executed. In the example below, "test 1" shows up after clicking on the area,
however "test 2" does not. Same with other events, e.g. onmouseout. This happens
only with the new Mozilla client (1.3b). Older versions (1.2) and other browsers
work correctly.
There is one exception: If the area is adjacent to one of the edges of the
image, e.g.:
coords="0,0,100,0,100,100,0,100"
the event is fired, iff the mouse is moved onto the area from outside the image,
e.g. from the top or left in the example.

<p><map name="cityMap">
<area shape="poly"
coords="50,50,100,50,100,100,50,100"
href="javascript:alert('test 1')"
alt="test" onmouseover="javascript:alert('test 2')">
</map></p>
<p><img src="someimage" border="0" alt="cityMap" usemap="#cityMap"></p>
Reproducible: Always
