Dayana, I think this is a SUMO website bug. We just need to change an in-product link (mobile-crash-reports
) to redirect to a different article.
The correct SUMO article for Android crash reporting is https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-send-crash-report-firefox-android.
Firefox Android is using the correct in-product SUMO link, mobile-crash-reports
, as specified in bug 1931083 comment 7:
But the SUMO website is redirecting that link https://support.mozilla.org/1/mobile/%VERSION%/%OS%/en-US/mobile-crash-reports to a SUMO article called "Placeholder Bug 1931083 Redirect" with URL https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/crash-reports-pref, which redirects to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/crash-report?as=u&utm_source=inproduct&redirectslug=crash-reports-pref&redirectlocale=en-US
Hey Mandy! Could we add this to Asana?

JR, should this be assigned to the CX Platform team?

I think the SUMO content team has designated someone to handle in-product links, but they're new, so I thought I'd just take care of this one. This should be fixed now.

Verified fixed. The in-product URL https://support.mozilla.org/1/mobile/%VERSION%/%OS%/en-US/mobile-crash-reports now correctly redirects https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-send-crash-report-firefox-android
Thanks!
