User-Agent: Mozilla/4.79 [en] (Win95; U) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Browser seems to die when this url is thrown at it. The mozilla icon start to turn and freezes immediately. Mozilla can still be killed with via task manager. Download works fine with Netscape 4.79. Site unusable with IE4.0. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.paste url in location bar 2.hit return Actual Results: mozilla becomes totally unresponsive. taskbar icons can still be pressed, however the browser window does not reappear after task switch. all instances of mozilla become inaccessible. Expected Results: download the requested pdf file. I believe I am running a talkback-enabled version of mozilla. However, talkback doesn't come up, probably because the browser seems stuck in a loop.
works for me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030306 Did download the testcase with rightclick, then after success leftclicked on test URL, Acrobat Reader Plugin started, displayed all 18 pages ok. about:plugins typed into the location bar shows: File name: nppdf32.dll Adobe Acrobat Plug-In Version 5.00 for Netscape Please try to download with right-click: Save Link Target As: Does download work this way? Then after download look at this file with File/Open File ... Does the Plugin work this way? and Windows Explorer. Does Acrobat work this way? Maybe it´s a problem of an old AcrobatReader, a long PDF-File and small RAM. How much RAM is in your machine, and what´s Acrobats Revision number?
NOT A BUG. Sorry! It must be a profile-related problem: Downloads OK with the default profile but not my private profile. Here download to disk works (right click), left click creates the temp download file and freezes immediately afterwards. Guess I need a new profile. Sorry again!
