Preconditions

  • expand on hover enabled
  • have multiple tabs open until they overflow
  • have some pinned tabs

Steps to reproduce

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the normal tabs area.
  2. Drag and drop a pinned tab over the normal tabs area.

Expected result

  • The normal tab area should not scroll.

Actual result

  • Scrolling is performed.

Regression range

  • Not a regression.

Additional notes

  • Attached a screen recording.

This happens regardless of Expand on hover being enabled. Removing bug 1930188 as a blocker.
