Firefox version: Firefox 137.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to: https://codepen.io/RJWadley/full/LEYqvzv
2. Hover the circles
3. Observe the mask animation

Expected Behavior:
No performance issues

Actual Behavior:
Mask-composite values other than mask are noticeably slower

Notes:

• Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
• Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
• Does not reproduce in chrome
