Preconditions

  • expand on hover enabled
  • sidebar placed on the left side

Steps to reproduce

  1. Hover over the sidebar and wait for it to expand.
  2. Move the mouse outside the sidebar launcher.
  3. While the sidebar performs the collapsing animation, move the mouse towards the sidebar.

Expected result

  • Sidebar continues to collapse.

Actual result

  • Sidebar expands again.

Regression range

  • Mozregression points at bug 1956624. Note that the issue is intermittent and may be hard to reproduce, therefore, the regression range may be inaccurate. Please let me know if I should perform another one.
