Change Component Info

For the following bug components, I'd like to either (a) change the default assignee and cc's, or just delete the component (as long as that doesn't cause problems for past bugs).

We have several components that we no longer need. Is it possible to delete these components without messing up the records of past bugs? If so, I think we should delete some components. If it would mess with the archive, let me know and we can keep them and I'll update the assignee and cc list.

We do not normally delete them. We just move them to a "Legal Graveyard" product where they are out of the way. But we need to resolve all of the open bugs associated with those first. I can do that if you like. Do you want me to add a comment to the ones I close?

I've spoken with Meredith, Max, and Terri - They would prefer to archive their various components rather than create accounts and take them over. So can we please add the following to issues we're archiving?

Yes. Could you please put a comment in saying:

"This bug is being closed because we are closing the Bugzilla Issue. If this still needs attention, please re-open as a "Legal-General" bug."
