User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:137.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/137.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Gmail account.
- Enable notifications in settings (allow notifications permission in FF).
- Close Gmail tab.
- Send an email to the relevant mailbox.
Actual results:
No notifications when tab is closed, only when opened.
Expected results:
Notification should appear when new email received, even when Gmail website is closed.

I think Google services generally do not use push services, that's why. This applies to Google Calendar too, and AFAIK this never works on any browser.
