Steps to reproduce:
- Open Firefox Nightly on Android.
- Tap on the tab switcher icon (to view all tabs).
- The app suddenly closes and returns to the home screen or app screen.
- In some cases, the app crashes immediately upon launch without any interaction.
Actual results:
The app closes instantly and returns to the Android home screen or app screen when I try to switch tabs. Sometimes, the same thing happens just after opening the app.
Expected results:
The tab switcher should open normally, and new tabs should load without the app crashing or closing unexpectedly.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox for Android::Tabs' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Thanks for the report, this has been fixed in the latest 140.0a1 nightly build.

Sorry to hear that bug has fixed but this is not true i am also using latest version of Firefox Nightly, version= 140.0a1 Bug is alive yet.
I mentioned 2 bugs:
1st crashing app and backing to homescreen or app screen,when tried to see opened tabs.
2nd crashing suddenly when tried to open app.
