User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 The documentation as written indicates that the location object is just a string. None of the properties or methods that are availble are given, In fact I originally thought that you weren't supporting them (since they are DOM Level 0) and originally began to file a bug asking that they be added as an enhancement. When my search indicated that the feature I was going to ask be added was already implemented, I decided to file this bug instead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: This bug also affects: http://www.mozilla.org/docs/dom/domref/dom_doc_ref26.html

moving stuff over to an outside-the-firewall email for the time being, looking for people to pick these Help and doc bugs up for me.

That page was updated a couple of times over the years and contains properties and methods of the location object: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/DOM/window.location
