Steps to reproduce:

I have tried (every combinations of Settings / Colors / Manage Colo in version 137.02) and in version 138.0.1 Settings / Language and Appearance / Contrast Control, and if I set Contrast Control to Custom Colors and change VisIted Links to, for example, Red, then certain other colors and checkboxes throughout the web are ruined.

This is true in 3 computers I have, win10 Home and Pro, and win11 Pro. (Acer, HP, and Dell computers)

Actual results:

A) The stars for individual Reviews for business and sites etc. in Google Maps will all be black, when some should be gold and some should be grey. (This doesn't count the summary rating at the top, which does have the correct colors. I'm only referring to the individual reviews by individual reviewers.
B) When using Find in a PDF file, it goes to the page where the hit can be found but it doesn't change the color of the text. One has to read the text for that whole page to find each hit.
C) Certain checkboxes do not indicate if they have been checked or not. Usually this is some doctor's office questionairre or some survey, but tonight I found one that you yourselves can check, one of your own pages:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/createaccount.cgi / Create an account / the checkbox for "I have read the Bugzilla etiquette...."

Expected results:

A) Some stars should be gold and others grey, or all stars should be gold, or grey.
B) When text is found, it should be some other color. When not using Custom, the color is green, I think.
C) The checkbox should show an x or some mark inside the box when I click on it.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::PDF Viewer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → PDF Viewer

The PDF problem, problem B, is just one of 3, and maybe the least common in my own use of FF. I often read pdf files but I don't very often try to find text in them. Problem A is one I come across most, but problem C used to be the most serious. When filling out information for a doctor, or any important form, it's important to know if a box has been checked or not. But I've learned to be very careful with my mouse and make sure I click only once (So I don't check a box and then uncheck it.) Now I know, but I messed myself up several times before I learned to pay extra close attention, and I will probably mess up again. . I think the bot moved it because PDF is a well-known component-related keyword, but problems A and C don't use component-related key words This is the problem with bots. They follow rules but they do not think. So if being in the PDF viewer component means only pdf-interested people will read about this problem, moving it was a mistake, IMO.
