User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030304 Phoenix/0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030304 Phoenix/0.5 I would like to be able to edit some advanced properties of the buttons in the gui while the configuration window is up, one could right click on the objects to edit their properties. I would like to be able to make ANY button be a "container/folder" button with a default action (that may be null) I would like to be able to choose if the Go button makes me go to a new window, tab or same window. I would like to be able to drag down the list, and choose an alternative from my default. I would like to be able to change the text of the buttons. (so I could make my desktop be text only, and have single letters for each button... extra SPACE SAVINGS on small screens) This could be implemented by: right clicking on object draging an "edit this component" fake component over the other components... have an advanced checkbox that causes a form to appear on acceptance of the object into the toolLINE (toolbar) BE ABLE TO CHOOSE BEHAVIOR of the back/forward buttons INDIVIDUALLY so that, the whole button defaults to the dropdown, OR the history.back() AND choose the highlighting behavior. (does the whole button act highligt, or does only the icon part highlight... or what? (I notice that this behavior has been changing in the nightlies, or maybe its just inconsitant between with text and without text) basically I am seeking microsoft office type toolbars (I've been waiting for/been able to describe great toolbars since way before ms office though... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Too much requests in a single bug, all of them being probably WONTFIX (Phoenix is supposed to be easy, not to have a emacs or Mozilla-like preferences panel with thousands of useless options). Marking this as dupe of bug 184227, since it covers one of the requests of this bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 184227 ***
