The Option "don't mark emails as junk when found in personal addressbook" doesn't work. Pherhaps just a Problem with the uppercase. Mail with from: B.Gate@microsoft.com is marked as junk. :-) But in my case it shouldn't because I have an entry from Bill in my personal addressbook ( b.gates@microsoft.com ) Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: marked as junk Expected Results: don't mark as junk
I think the problem lies deeper/has more effects. In mail/news in the top-right panel click VIEW and set the drop-down to PEOPLE I KNOW. It will also leave out people that ARE present in your address book. I'm not sure which fields it tries to match and what the matching criteria are. It seems they are too narrow. searching for "personal address book" didn't give any obvious dupes -> confirming.
