Build Identifier:
When I created a product without a description and later added a component
without a description, all looked fine until I tried to file a bug against it.
===> When I do that and only one component is defined, the browser complains
that no component is defined.
If I add a second component with an empty description field, again, no complaint
during administration, but the user who tries to file a bug just won't see that
component!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a component
2.Leave description empty
3.
Actual Results:
component no available when trying to enter a new bug
Expected Results:
component should be available, just without a descripiton or the admin interface
should complain
using Bugzilla Version 2.16.2

I can't duplicate this in 2.17.3.
The admin interface does allow me to create a product with no description, but
it does show up in the choose a product list.
If I go back and edit that product, it complains that I can't leave the
description blank.

right, which is exactly what I reproduced on 2.16.2. It works fine on the tip,
so it's been fixed at some point...
