Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030306 Camino/0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.0.1) Gecko/20030306 Camino/0.7 Often, Moz crashes and it causes Moz to crash at startup until the Mozilla.app bundle is replaced. I have possibly seen similar behaviour once on W2k but this happens frequently on Mac OS X 10.1.5. Camino 0.7 has inherited this bug (it didn't use to have it). I'm raising a separate bug for Camino since it's releases are handled differently. This is NOT the XUL cache problem. I removed that file and the crashes continued. I can only conclude that there is a file that is modified inside the Mozilla.app bundle. This is not what applications are supposed to do! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make Moz crash a certain way (waking from sleep and using Moz seems good at doign this) 2. Startup Moz Actual Results: Moz crashes on startup. Expected Results: Moz should startup nicely.
Lincoln, You reported this bug over a year ago... do you still find this behavior?
I saw this bug on a machine I no longer have and running an operating system that is 2 major versions older than what I run now... I doubt I could reproduce this if I wanted to. Feel free to close it.
Lincoln, Thanks for the speedy reply... I will mark this as WFM since you no longer experience the issues noted above...
