This means that extensions and themes will not install for Mozilla 1.3 on Mac OS X. (bug 181293)" However, Bug 181293 is the gray screen problem that was fixed in the 11th hour. The correct reference *might* be to Bug 186088, but I'm not entirely sure about that. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Or Bug 195788 might be the correct one. There seem to be several.

the meta bug that keeps track of Mac OS X /XPInstall issues is bug 197105 and the bug that disables XPInstall on Mac OS X is bug 196959.
Nevermind, the point was moot :) Rev Author Date Log 1.7 asa%mozilla.org Mar 13 17:37 fix bug number. Oh well, FIXED ;)
