filters work great when working on incoming mail. I use them to move all the
incoming messages to other folders.

the next thing i would like to do is delete mail within those folders after a
certain time. depending on the amount of mail i want those messages deleted
sooner or later (the more mail there is, the sooner i want old messages to be
deleted).

it would be useful to create filters per folder or maybe create filters and
apply them to a list of folders, e.g.

"delete after 3 days"
- folder 1
- folder 4

"delete after 5 days"
- folder 2
- folder 3
