User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 After installing Internet Explorer 6, SP1 Mozilla 1.3 will not install completely. Uninstalling IE6 and rolling back to IE5 removes the block to installation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. do clean install ow Windows 98, second edition (which contains IE 5) 2. upgrade to Internet Explored 6, sp1 3. install mozilla 1.3 Actual Results: mozilla installer fails with message that a reinstall is necessary. Rebooting and /or reinstalling produces the same result. So does uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. Expected Results: installed successfully On the other hand, uninstalling IE sp1 and rolling back to IE 5, rebooting and then installing Mozilla 1.3 worked fine. No more problems. Is this one more of MS' dirty tricks?
