I noticed that I was having problems typing accented characters in my IRC client
(Ircle v. 3.1b10) and I had assumed that it was an Ircle bug... until I noticed
that I couldn't use accents in Keycaps either. So... I quit Mozilla and all of a
sudden accented characters are working in Ircle again. I use a US English
keyboard and the accents are typed using "dead keys".
Instead of getting an é character, I'll get an ´e instead. Oh, and as you can
see it works just fine in THIS window.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Launch Mozilla and then launch Ircle.
2.Try to enter an accented character using dead keys.
3.Fail.
Actual Results:
´e, ¨u, ˆi, et cetera
Expected Results:
é, ü, î
8600/300, 704MB, 18GB RAID 0, RADEON 7000/19", built-in video/15", OS 9.1,USB
with optical mouse.
