User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030313 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030313 When I switched from mozilla-1.2.1 to 1.3 and copied all plugins, java 1.4.1, and realplayer 8 plugins stopped working. Plugin test also did not check them. libflashplayer.so is the correct link to jdk-1.4.1 plugin directory. I use Red Hat 8.0.94 (phoebe-3 beta) with glib2-2.2.1-1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install plugins in mozilla 1.2.1 2. Upgrade to mozilla 1.3 3. Copy the content of plugin directory from 1.2.1 to 1.3 Actual Results: JDK and realplayer stopped working Expected Results: Support all plugins as mozilla-1.2.1
Please read the release notes (under compatibility information): "If you are using the Red Hat 8.x RPMS and you have the Java plugin installed, you must have a version that is also compiled with GCC 3.2. There is a version available from the Blackdown project. Make sure you download the GCC 3.2 version! A version with GCC 3.2 is also rumored to be available from Sun sometime soon." There is no RealPlayer version at all that works with the RPM builds. If you get the non-RPM ones, everything works fine with them.
