I had Mozilla as my default browser to render images from my Lotus Notes mail
account. When opening a jpeg file, the browser crashed. Subsequent tests to open
the browser independently crashed as well.

Workaround: reinstall the browser.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Unhandled exception in mozilla.exe (EMBEDCOMPONENTS.DLL): 0xC0000005: Access
violation.
Etienne, could you please enable talkback and post the talkback id from the
crashhere?

I am facing a bug too with jpeg. When I right click on link for a jpeg file to
be opened in a new tab -> mozilla is freezing while loading.

Closing it doesn't kill it in memory. Same bug as this one ?
I have the following problem. Talkback was not enabled. After reinstallation,
the problem has been fixed. I cannot manage to reproduce it at the moment.
Talkback is now enabled, but it may take a while before it happens. This is the
reason why I tried to capture as much information as possible upfront. Which
might not be sufficient unfortunately...

Etienne.
Thanks Etienne

I'll resolve this bug as Works For Me, but if the problem reappears, please feel
free to reopen this bug report.

Frederic, the bug you are describing is different than this one.
