bear with me here.

say I hit "new message"
and I typed "nin" in the addressing area and autocomplete to "Ninoschka
<nbaca@netscape.com", and hit enter.

wouldn't it be cool if in the body, I got:

Ninoschka,

If, before switching to the body, I typed "est" in the addressing area and got
"Esther <esther@netscape.com>", and hit enter, I'd get:

Ninoschka, Esther,

Or am I just being lazy?
as soon as the body got focus, this would stop.

and I'd need to make sure it played nice with signatures.

This would indeed be a nice feature, but you should make sure that the "," could
be replaced by "!" or "" (nothing). This could be done by a simple pref.

I mean, this feature wouldn't be any use for people from countries where a ","
behind the name is unusual.
