When looking at an Image that has been reduced in size you can see that the
resizing is done by leaving out certains lines/columns of the image file. This
causes very bad looking images especially with line graphics

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. load an image which is way bigger then window size
2. look closely at image

Actual Results:
the image has "holes" in lines, etc.

Expected Results:
used a smoother resizing algorithm (I don't undeerstand much about his, but in
PaintShopPro these are called Bilinear- or Bicubic-resample).
Attached image testcase
testcase: especially watch the blue lines.
