With that, we could use Mozilla to see our , without the need for an image viewer (I searched an image viewer supporting the auto-resizing function, without success, finally I used Mozilla !) imho, imagelib is the wrong component. -> xp apps:gui features, confirming as rfe, and marking dependent on the bug for backend support for this feature.

The composer's image properties dialog really needs to give the user a way to rotate an image. My suggestion is to at lease put a radio button to rotate 90, 180, 270 degrees. An expert option would be a field where the user can enter the number of degrees (where range = 1-359).

to have more complete functionality for viewing images a mirror function needs to be implemented as well. I don't know how this could be implemented but IMHO a la' MSIE 5.5 filter implementation would be a nice base. see http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/samples/author/filter/BasicImage.htm with MSIE 5.5 or later.

Reassigning obsolete bugs to their respective Seamonkey owners (i.e. nobody). If you want this fixed for Firefox, change the Product and Component accordingly and reassign back to me.

I think this one could be resolved as WONTFIX, because the canvas element, allows web developers to create web sites, that provide such functionality (for rotating and resizing images). Any comments from CC list ?

WONTIX. Sounds like extension fodder to me. The ImageZoom extension for example already does this: <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/image-zoom/> "Image Rotation will allow you to rotate an image +90,-90,180 degrees from the context menu."
