I could not find a way to do it. I hope I'm not missing something.
No, there's not a way to do it. Currently, you have to |make -C embedding/config gre| to create a gre package .... which only seems to work on win32.

This was fixed when I fixed XULRunner make install to install the runtime and the SDK.
