Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Mozilla is less responsive when using tabs, when the currently active tab is "loading" than if it has completed loading. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a page and let it finish loading. 2. Open another page (good example site: http://stats.zerothelement.com/cgi-bin/distributed-folding/render-team-detailed.pl?Id=10) 2. Let the page finish loading. 3. Middle click/control click a few of the links in the menu on the right (e.g. Current Teams User Stats, All Users Stats, and All Teams Stats). Do this in rapid succession. 4. Close the current tab (quickly) by right-clicking on the tab. 5. The current tab should now be "loading" one of the pages. 6. Press CTRL-T to open a new tab. Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: Opened a new tab. Mozilla will open a new tab later, it's just unresponsive for a couple of seconds. This doesn't seem to happen when the current tab isn't in the loading state.
Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest nightly (or even 1.7.3)? If not, this bug has probably been fixed and can be closed. Thanks.
