With todays trunk build:
ftp://sweetlou.mcom.com/products/client/seamonkey/macos/10.x/ppc/2003-03-24-16-trunk/Netscape-MachO.dmg.gz

Tools> Web Development> Java Console is grayed-out. Occurs on Mach-o PPC build
only; Windows build displays menu item as expected. Failure occurs in both
Modern and Classic themes.

You can select the Java Plugin Settings
control panel from Applications:Utilities:Java and force the Java conmsole for
1.3.1 to appear in the interum. So the console does in fact work.

Same as bug 159969, but that one was filed on Mac OS 9.

The difference being that the Netscape 7.02 for OSX does not exhibit this
behavior. So it is a new failure.

Java is enabled in Mozilla Prefs but Java Console always unavailable at startup.
Must first disable Java in Prefs, close, reopen, and re-enable Jave to make Java
Console available. Although Java is enabled in Mozilla Prefs, a component test
using navigator.javaEnabled() method indicates that Java is, in fact, not enabled.

Mass-closing bugs in the "OJI" component: OJI plugin integration was replaced with npruntime long ago, and these bugs appear to be irrelevant now. If there is in fact a real bug that remains, please file it new in the "Core" product, component "Plug-ins".
