User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 When I print a webpage with Mozilla with a samsung ML-4500 Series, shared by another PC in the LAN, my PC shuts down (!!). Notes: 1) I can print on that printer with other programs 2) I can print with Mozilla on other shared printers without problems The problem is reproducibile every time I try to print from Mozilla with that printer (now I'm using another one ;-) Please let me know if you need other informations on my system. Sorry if this is a duplicate bug, I've looked for "crash print" and there are 37 bugs opened, I didn't find the same kind of problem I've. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. with my PC, it is sufficient to print a web page using a Samsung ML-4500 Series shared by another PC. Actual Results: The computer reboots Expected Results: --
Do you get a shutdown or a reboot ? If you get a reboot you must disable the automatic reboot in : System Control/System/Advanced/boot... You should see a BSOD and in this BSOD you will see a driver .dll This driver .dll cause this problem and this is not Mozilla's fault (but it possible only happends with Mozilla)
The computer reboots, but not in a clean way: a file system check is forced when the computer restarts. I'll try later to reproduce the bug with the settings you've suggested.
Summary: PC shuts down printing a web page with Mozilla → PC reboots printing a web page with Mozilla
looks like a driver caused a BSOD -> invalid (and got never a response)
