User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312

Press 'proceed to checkout' with an item in the shopping bag and the browser
locks up - can't send or receive mail, view another web site. Have to kill
mozilla to reconnect.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.www.vitaminshoppe.com
2.add something to shopping basket
3.press 'proceed to checkout'

Actual Results:
Browser locks up, every time.

Expected Results:
Continue!
Is that a Gtk2/Xft build?
It happens with Mozilla 1.0.1 and 1.3, as well as netscape 6. Couldn't tell
you which build, though - seems to be every one.
Hmm. You shouldn't share a profile between so different versions of gecko.
Profile corruption will occur; for instance cache corruption.

WFM with a day old trunk CVS build, Linux. The site users SSL version 2
(check security->SSL in prefs)

I didn't have that checked first, and got an alert:
"You cannot connect to www.vitaminshoppe.com because SSL version 2 is disabled."

I can't remember ever disabling it myself, so perhaps it's off by default..

Can you check that it's enabled. Then *delete cache* and try again, with Mozilla 1.3
Thanks for the quick help! Never would have guessed that clearing the cache
would help, though....
